I have not found any other numbers anywhere elseĭenny. The title says its a 66 but the Serial number (vin) says 4J409154 (that doesnt look right either). The tags were on the firewall on the driver's side. One says serial number 10C 11651 and second tag says model CJ-5 from Kaiser of Canada. the firewall Serial (patent) number tag is the ONLY one which remained consistent throughout production.In these cases, the ACM to Serial number differential can be significantly greater than 10000. Numbers start at 10,001 tubs were returned to Willys for final assembly, many weeks or months might have passed. (Trucks, Models 2WD, 4WD) Chassis serial number is shown on plate located on left front side of dash panel near steering column. Chassis serial number is shown on plate located on outside of left frame side rail at front end, or on the left or right driver's seat floor riser.
